After 'Concord' was deemed a failure once it attracted only 25,000 players on PlayStation 5 and PC, the game's director Ryan Ellis has reportedly exited developer Firewalk Studios while staff wait to see what Sony will do with the company.

Following Sony’s shock decision to haul live service hero shooter Concord offline, its game director has reportedly stepped down with some staff concerned about the future of the studio.

Kotaku reports that Ryan Ellis, the game director for Concord, has stepped down from his position to becoming support for Firewalk Studios. They also say the studio themselves still don’t know their fate, as they await word from Sony.

A Kotaku report says Concord game director Ryan Ellis has stepped down from his position at Firewalk Studios, and will take on a "support role" instead. Three sources told the site that Ellis, a former director on Destiny 2 who left Bungie in 2016 and founded Firewalk in 2018,
