HOUSTON — All Houston airports will close Tuesday due to the winter storm expected in the area, officials said Sunday. An arctic front with wintry precipitation is expected to move into the area overnight Monday.

Check-in, TSA security, and baggage claim for Terminal B flights will be redirected to Terminal C, but the gates will continue to operate.

The Bush Airport’s terminal lobbies are used for check-in, TSA security and baggage claim. These operations for Terminal B flights will be redirected to Terminal C, according to the Houston Airport System.

With a winter storm warning now in effect for the entire Houston area, several public entities and other organizations are already announcing closures for the coming days.
