Hay Fire initially started today at 1:03 p.m. in Solano County. It has burned 869 acres after being active for five hours. As of Friday evening, the fire crew succeeded in containing 70% of this fire. The cause is, however, still being investigated.

A 30-acre wildfire ignited East of Vacaville in Solano County on Friday afternoon, according to Cal Fire officials. The Vacaville Fire District said this fire, labeled the Hay Fire, could burn up to 100 acres.

Firefighters are responding to a wildfire, dubbed the Hay Fire, burning near Hay Road and Burke Lane east of Vacaville.
