Jailed actor Darshan Thoogudeepa has submitted his bail application after spending 100 days in prison in connection to the Renuka Swamy murder case.

Darshan, who was arrested along with 16 others, including his close friend Pavithra Gowda, has been in judicial custody since June 22. Bengaluru: Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa submitted bail application in a Bengaluru court on Saturday in connection with the murder of Renukaswamy from Chitradurga.

To note, Darshan has been accused of murdering Renukaswami. Renukaswamy was a fan of Darshan Thoogudeepa. She was allegedly upset with the fact that Darshan and Pavitra Gowda had some relationship despite him being married. According to the reports, Darshan along with the help of his companions tortured and killed Renukswamy.
