Alabama ended the season last week with a disappointing loss to Michigan in the ReliaQuest Bowl.

Well, that is exactly what happened once again when the two teams met for the ReliaQuest Bowl on Tuesday afternoon in Tampa, Florida with Alabama going on to fall to Michigan by a final score of 19-13 to conclude the 2024 season.

In its final exam to end the first season of the Kalen DeBoer era, Alabama football condensed the highs and lows of its entire 2024 season into 60 minutes.  For the Crimson Tide, the bad outweighed the good is it lost 19-13 to Michigan in the 2024 ReliaQuest Bowl to secure Alabama's first season without 10 wins since 2007.

As previously reported by the Detroit Free Press' Tony Garcia, senior safety Makari Paige did not travel to Tampa with Michigan for the ReliaQuest Bowl. Paige, who has a year of eligibility remaining, finished with 45 tackles, four broken-up passes and two interceptions this season.
