Hunters of Color event on Belle Isle in Detroit is intended to help lure more diverse hunters into the sport in Michigan.

Today, I will join about 527,000 other Michiganders dressed in camouflage and hunter orange as we head into the woods. For some, it will be their first hunt, and, for others, it will be their last.
