Special counsel Jack Smith’s final report on the Trump Jan. 6 case breaks little new evidentiary ground but suggests plenty of criticism for the Supreme Court.

Attorney General Merrick Garland has indicated he plans to publicly release the volume of Smith’s report detailing his election-related investigation.

Users who have the TikTok app on their phone will still be able to access it after Jan. 19. However, because the ban would prevent Apple and Google from providing the app with necessary updates, TikTok would quickly break down and become unusable, leading Americans to look for an alternative app.

With a TikTok ban looming, some users are scrambling to find a new destination for trending videos. The idea to ban the short-form video app because of security concerns tied to its Beijing-based owner initially came up during Donald Trump’s first term as president.
