BERLIN - Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen is turning to her European allies for help in dealing with US President Donald Trump’s demands to appropriate Greenland.

Denmark’s prime minister is on a tour of major European capitals as the continent faces what she called “a more uncertain reality” and her country moves to strengthen its military presence around Greenland.

Denmark’s prime minister said the US should remember that the Nordic country has lost troops fighting in US-led wars and always has supported its large partner, after President Donald Trump escalated his demands over Greenland.
