Though Payal didn’t win an award at the Golden Globes, she made history as the first Indian director ever to be nominated for Best Director.

All eyes are on Payal Kapadia who earlier scripted history with a nomination for Best Director - Motion Picture for her critically acclaimed film All We Imagine As Light. The film has also been nominated under the Best Motion Picture - Non-English Language category.
