As the Pittsburgh Steelers face a pivotal offseason, head coach Mike Tomlin's decision on the next quarterback has become a hot topic. In a surprising turn, Tomlin might be leaning towards veteran Russell Wilson over rising star Justin Fields.

Steelers president Art Rooney II is on record saying that his preference would be for Pittsburgh to re-sign either Russell Wilson or Justin Fields. At this point, the Steelers have not decided which quarterback to bring back for the 2025 season.

As long as they remain unsigned, both Wilson and Fields could speak with other clubs when the legal tampering period of free agency opens on March 10.
