Here's what the rare six-planet parade will mean for your zodiac sign, according to astrologer Kyle Thomas' predictions shared with PEOPLE exclusively.

Any clear, cloudless night this month is ideal to spot the planets. To get in on the sighting, go outside on a clear night a few hours after sunset and face south, said Kevin Williams, planetarium director at Buffalo State University.

Venus, Saturn, Jupiter and Mars will appear to line up and be bright enough to see with the naked eye in the first few hours after dark. This weekend, Venus and Saturn get especially cozy.

On Friday 17 January and Saturday 18 January, six planets will line up in the night sky, in an event that some astronomers refer to as a planetary parade. Mars, Jupiter, Neptune, Saturn, Uranus and Venus will appear together in a row, although Neptune and Uranus will only be visible with binoculars or a telescope.

This means at its peak, Jupiter, Saturn and Venus will be shown to the south and Mars will be north and west. The planet alignment will last every night through mid-February. The best time to see it will be directly after dark. The planets will be brightest around the new moon phase on January 29.
