Hailey Van Lith and the 10th-ranked TCU Horned Frogs extended their winning streak to five games on Sunday, beating the 17th-ranked West Virginia Mountaineers 71-50 at Schollmaier Arena.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Hailey Van Lith made five 3-pointers and scored 24 points, Sedona Prince added 18 points before fouling out, and eighth-ranked TCU held on for a 69-62 victory over Colorado on Friday in the quarterfinals of the women’s Big 12 Tournament.

TCU’s defense was instrumental in the win, holding Baylor to just two points in the first five minutes of the fourth quarter. The Horned Frogs capitalized when Taylor Bigby and Agnes Emma-Nnopu hit back-to-back three-pointers, extending TCU’s lead to 44-36.
