The house sits due east of the 18th Street Expressway and Metropolitan Ave. and just south of the Kaw River. Upon arrival, the man was found shot and killed inside the home.

Just after 2:30a.m. Wednesday, police were dispatched to a shooting in the 1600 block of S. Valley Street, in the Argentine neighborhood of Kansas City, Kansas, according to a media release. First responders discovered a man inside a residence, the victim of apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased on scene.
