Washington Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury has reportedly decided to return to the franchise in the same role next season, despite getting serious head-coaching interest from the New Orleans Saints and other teams.
Kingsbury came to Washington after spending four seasons as the Cardinals’ head coach, going 28-37-1 in the regular season with zero playoff wins before getting fired after the 2022 season. The Commanders enjoyed a renaissance season under head coach Dan Quinn and Kingsbury this year, going 12-5 and winning their first postseason game since 2005.
