The Kraken remain winless early in the preseason, falling 3-1 against the Canucks on Tuesday night. Seattle starting goaltender Joey Daccord made 17 saves on 19 shots and newcomer Ben Meyers scored his team’s only goal.

The Vancouver Canucks kicked off their 2024 preseason with a impressive 3-1 win over the Seattle Kraken. The game featured plenty of emotion as two fights and multiple scrums broke out during the 60 minutes. As for the goals, they were scored by Nils Höglander, Filip Hronek and Pius Suter, while Artūrs Šilovs stopped 18 of the 19 shots he faced.

Filip Hronek extended the Canucks lead to 2-0 on the Canucks fifth power play of the game. He unleashed a booming one-timer from the point that beat Daccord. With the three attempts on the man advantage, the Canucks outshot the Kraken 11-6 in the second period.
