Events organized by college students, Jewish and Muslim organizations across Southern California are marking the one-year anniversary the ongoing Israel-Hamas war.

Sacramento’s Jewish community gathered Monday evening at the state Capitol to mark the one-year anniversary of the October 7 Hamas attack and in defense of Israel in the subsequent conflict. A couple hundred people listened to a program that included personal tributes from impacted families and prayers from regional rabbis and cantors.
