Philadelphia 76ers star Paul George will miss the remainder of the season after receiving injections in his left adductor muscle and left knee on Monday.

Paul George, who has not played since March 4 against the Minnesota Timberwolves, will now be ruled out for the rest of the season. He will finish his first season in Philadelphia with averages of 16.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists while shooting 43% from the floor and 35.8% from deep in just 41 games.

“Following consultations with specialists, as part of his treatment plan, Paul George has received injections in both his left adductor muscle and left knee. Following the procedure, George is medically unable to play and will be out for at least six weeks. Further updates on his recovery will be provided as appropriate.”
