World Rugby has approved a global trial for four new law changes designed to enhance the fan experience by speeding up games and reducing time-wasting. The changes include time limits for conversions and lineouts,

There were some changes, however, with conversion shot clocks being reduced while line-outs will have a 30-second set-up time

Four new laws - including conversion shot clocks and less penalising of crooked line-out throws - will be introduced into the game worldwide from January.
