After serving one season as Michigan’s defensive coordinator, Wink Martindale is reportedly exploring a return to the NFL. According to a report from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the 61-year-old is interviewing with the Atlanta Falcons on Tuesday and the Indianapolis Colts on Wednesday for their vacant defensive coordinator positions.

On Saturday, Martindale met with the media for the first time since the win over Ohio State, and he discussed multiple aspects of the game plan and what happened. He also discussed the matchup against Alabama, what he’s seen on the other side of the ball with Bryce Underwood, and more.

Wink Martindale is receiving plenty of NFL interest. Whether Martindale stays at Michigan or heads back to the pros remains to be seen, what we do know is Sherrone Moore wants Martindale to stay at Michigan.
