TikTok goes dark as US ban takes effect
Millions of TikTok users in the United States are no longer able to watch videos on the social media platform as a federal ban on the immensely popular app takes effect.

"TikTok and ByteDance Ltd. apps are no longer available in the United States, and visitors to the United States might have limited access to features," Apple said.
TikTok shuts down ahead of government-mandated ban
TikTok and ByteDance, as well as some TikTok content creators, sued to stop the ban from taking effect, citing free speech concerns, but they lost in front of the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia and the Supreme Court.
