NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Stefan Noesen scored a power-play goal in overtime and Jacob Markstrom made 23 saves as the New Jersey Devils defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 3-2 on Saturday night.

New Jersey Devils forward, Ondrej Palat opened the scoring 8:10 into the first period, following a turnover in the corner by Tampa Bay. A minute later, Lightning captain Victor Hedman tied the game up with a shot through traffic from above the left circle.

After a dreadful 1-4-1 road trip, the New Jersey Devils returned home to take on the Tampa Bay Lightning. In a back-and-forth affair, the Devils got the last laugh as they won 3-2 in overtime.
