The Steam Deck is already a robust handheld that stands on its own, but it can also be useful as an alternative gaming controller in a pinch. With Steam Remote Play, you can set it up to use as a controller for any number of PC games with just a few steps.

But the issue we are talking about now is something we thought had been resolved already. Last August, Santa Monica Studio officially stated on the PlayStation Blog that this release requires a PSN account on PC. However, as reported by MP1st, some gamers are now claiming that they are able to bypass the PSN requirement completely.
