Nvidia stock (NVDA) rose modestly early Tuesday. That put the shares on course to recoup a little bit of the ground lost in the previous session's 17% crash, which was fueled by concerns about China's DeepSeek.

According to a paper authored by the lab, the DeepSeek-R1 model outperforms cutting-edge models such as OpenAI’s o1 and Meta’s Llama AI models across multiple benchmarks.

Since the start of 2023, Nvidia 's (NASDAQ: NVDA) stock has gained an astronomical 906% as of the time of writing.
