BrucePac is recalling nearly 10 million pounds of meat and poultry products because they may be contaminated with listeria bacteria, which​ can cause illness and death.

FRIDAY, Oct. 11, 2024 (HealthDay News) -- Oklahoma meat processor BrucePac is recalling close to 10 million pounds of ready-to-eat meat and poultry that may have been contaminated with the Listeria bacterium.

BrucePac, a producer of ready-to-eat meat and poultry items, has recalled more than 9.9 million pounds of product due to possible listeria contamination, the US Department of Agriculture announced on Wednesday.
