The Kraken remain winless early in the preseason, falling 3-1 against the Canucks on Tuesday night. Seattle starting goaltender Joey Daccord made 17 saves on 19 shots and newcomer Ben Meyers scored his team’s only goal.

Filip Hronek extended the Canucks lead to 2-0 on the Canucks fifth power play of the game. He unleashed a booming one-timer from the point that beat Daccord. With the three attempts on the man advantage, the Canucks outshot the Kraken 11-6 in the second period.

With training camp in the rear-view mirror, the Vancouver Canucks set their sights on the preseason as fans will be back in the building to watch their local club in action Tuesday night. Yes, folks.
