Three hostages released by Hamas, including Israeli American Keith Siegel
The Hostages and Missing Families Forum has celebrated the release of Ofer Kalderon, Yarden Bibas and Keith Siegel, after they were released by Hamas today. "Their release today brings a ray of light in the darkness, offering hope and demonstrating the triumph of the human spirit," the organization said in a statement.

It is believed that at least two of the six American hostages still held in Gaza are alive — Sagui Dekel-Chen, 35, who grew up in Bloomfield, Connecticut, and Edan Alexander, 19, from Tenafly, New Jersey. Four other Americans are believed to have been killed in captivity.

Hamas Names American, Israeli, and French Hostages To Be Freed Saturday
Siegel, 65, is an American-Israeli from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He was kidnapped from Kibbutz Kfar Aza along with his wife, Aviva Siegel. Aviva was freed in a prior hostage exchange in Nov. 2023 and has since led an international campaign advocating for the release of Siegel and others still held in Gaza.
