BROOKSVILLE, Fla. (WFLA)— Linemen working in waste deep water as they restore power to the community in Brooksville. Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative said the linemen were working on restoring power to two customers in the area.

Florida linemen have been working around the clock to restore power to residents across the Bay Area after Hurricane Milton. Almost a week after the storm slammed into the state, thousands are still without power.

Nearly a week after Hurricane Milton hit Florida, crews from Versant Power are continuing restoration efforts. Photos shared by the power company shows some of the destruction caused by Milton around Tampa.
